Aaron Ford Music

Aaron Ford is a singer-songwriter who lives in San Francisco. His musical style is based in folk, Americana and blues. Hailing from a small, coastal town in Northern California, he began playing the guitar and writing songs as a teenager. His original influences were blues musicians such as John Lee Hooker, BB King and Albert King. Other influences include classic rock artists such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. He found inspiration and gleamed his own style from listening to Ben Harper, Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell; though he’s never consciously tried to emulate their styles, their popularity during his teenage years undoubtedly influenced his sound. He’s developed a distinct vocal style all his own, delivering lyrics clearly, with purpose and confidence in a deep and compelling tone. Aaron writes most of his songs by simply trying out new riffs on his guitar and singing along until a tune begins to form. From there, a story will unfold and a full song comes together. His latest EP, Where Have You Gone, is now available.
