This may be a loophole to still enjoy technology to some degree—Tiat is a new gallery in the heart of Union Square. It's a great outlet to be within a community, plus learn more about the intersection of creativity and technology. Their space hosts workshops, exhibitions, and lectures regularly. One of the more popular run clubs in the Bay, this org hosts meet-ups in both SF and the East Bay. Usually followed by a social meet-up to chat more with other members!

A club specifically dedicated to junk journaling and making new friends. SF Junk Journal Club hosts monthly events around the city. Past locations have included Dolores Park, Union Square, and even Cal Academy of Sciences NightLife.
