Spooky season is here, and it's the best time of the year to get lost in a sea of orange and yellow hues. Whether you're looking to get that annual hay stack photo, pick the biggest pumpkin to carve, or get lost in a corn maze, we've got plenty of options on where to start.

SAN FRANCISCO
(610 Old Mason Street // Presidio)
Last year the patch was open October 18-27, but no 2025 dates have been announced yet.
Celebrate fall for a good cause with The Guardsmen, a nonprofit organization that benefits at-risk youth in the Bay Area by providing outdoor programs and scholarships. This year you can visit them at Sports Basement Presidio — all proceeds will go to their at-risk youth programs! Enjoy family-friendly events featuring movies, music, pumpkin decorating, and more, plus pumpkin-themed treats and a vintage SF Fire Truck!

Clancy’s has got all the pumpkins you've ever dreamt of — from Munchkin to Sugar Pie to Cinderella, you’ll definitely find what you need to make that picture-perfect pumpkin pie.
Admission: Free admission and parking, small fee for hayrides.
(2171 Monarch St. // Alameda)
Can you think of anything better than a pumpkin patch? What about a pet-friendly pumpkin patch with a 4-story ship slide, giant human hamster balls, a petting zoo, and a mini train? Well, Speer Family has got something for everyone.
Admission: $12 for adults, $22 for kids, free for kids under 2. Various prices for additional activities. Advance tickets available.
(487 East Airway Blvd // Livermore)
This place has it all! With a six-acre corn maze, you can't go wrong when it comes to fall fun. The hayride, pedal carts, and cow train attractions are only open on weekends. Visit October 18-October 25 for a haunted version of the corn maze so you can have a spooky good time.
Admission: Pumpkin patch is free, and the Corn Maze is $10 (or free for ages 5 or younger)
(4351 Mines Rd // Livermore)
Joan’s provides the entire pumpkin experience! This patch is known for its extensive activities, from hay mazes to pumpkin bowling, as well as a snack shack with pumpkin pie and more! The patch is closed every Monday, except October 14. Bring your own wagon!

(4414 Piedmont Ave // Oakland)
The Piedmont Pumpkin Patch is back again and bringing you the Bay's best pumpkins. You can pay them a visit and pick one out yourself, or if you feeling the fall spirit from home this year, have your pumpkins delivered! Piedmont Pumpkin Patch is delivering to anywhere in the Bay Area this year. Pretty sweet!
Admission: Free; $10 for the haunted house.
(6150 Dixon Ave West // Dixon)
This family-friendly pumpkin patch is perfect for the kids, but be careful not to get lost in the corn maze. It holds the record for the largest corn maze in the world, so give yourself ample time to get through! And when you're done, hop on the hayride for a grand tour and grab a pumpkin pie to share with the fam. (Cool Patch closes during rainy days. Check the website for weather conditions).

If you're not picking out a pumpkin, get lost in the 5-acre corn maze, take a hayride or ride the cow train! You can also enjoy the petting zoo, go down the 24-foot inflatable slide, or touch the sky on the country tire swing set!

SOUTH BAY + PENINSULA
(800 Cabrillo Hwy // North Half Moon Bay)
This patch has been poppin’ since 1926, so come celebrate the tradition that’s been passed down through generations. There’s an abundance of pumpkins along with other types of produce, so it's like a pumpkin patch and farmer’s market all in one! Get spooky with their Fright Nights on Fridays... if you dare.
Admission: Varies based on attraction, starting at $12 (children 3 & under are free)
(2718 Alpine Rd // Portola Valley)
Come one, come all! This little farm is a Fall haven amidst bustling Silicon Valley, offering up a variety of fun for the fam including pumpkin picking, corn mazing, hay riding, animal/reptile petting, and more. Reservations required for weekend activities.
Admission: Free to visit, unlimited activity wristbands vary from $5 to $35
(185 Verde Rd. // Half Moon Bay)
Get lost in the Minotaur's Labyrinth hay maze, brave the haunted barn, explore the cornfield and pumpkin river, ride a pony, pet a goat, hop on a hayride ... the options are almost endless here.
Admission: Individual activities vary from $8 to $20, all-access packages are $45.
(12320 San Mateo Rd // Half Moon Bay)
Pumpkin patches might be at their peak in October, but Lemos has got pumpkins all year long! Halloween is definitely their favorite time of year and it's easy to tell once you stroll through the haunted house. Limited tickets are available, so get yours ahead of time. Feel free to join them for goat yoga, too, if you're into that.
Admission: $17 for adults, $29-$34 for kids
(950 La Honda Road // San Gregorio)
Though this 50-acre farm produces vegetables and fruit year-round, they make sure to dedicate time to pumpkins in October! Like their other U-Pick events, you can head down to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin — just make sure to check their social media for the latest info.
