Florence and The Machine @ The Greek Theatre

The real queen of England, Florence Welch, will be gracing us mere mortals with her presence at the Greek Theatre with her band Florence and The Machine. With Flo's ethereal, soaring vocals and powerful instrumentals to match, audiences are guaranteed to be completely spellbound after seeing Florence and the Machine live.

Their debut album, Lungs, was released in 2009 and became an instant hit on the charts with over 3 million copies sold worldwide and six singles. Their single "Dog Days Are Over" became a summer anthem and placed the band front and center as the new indie darlings of the radio. Although a formidable act to follow, Florence and the Machine overcame the sophomore slump with their second album, Ceremonials, released in 2011. Hits like "Shake It Out" and "What The Water Gave Me" helped Ceremonials land on numerous Top Albums of 2011 lists.

The band's third album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, has proven successful so far and the band is coming to town to promote the record. They will be performing not just one, but two shows on October 21st and October 22nd, which means you have two chances to win tickets to see them live.
