Call + Text:

  • Text “FLOYD” to 55156 to sign Color of Change’s petition, sending a letter to Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and District Attorney Michael Freeman demanding the arrest and murder charge of the 4 officers

  • Call Mayor Frey to defund the Minneapolis Police Department

  • Call DA Michael Freeman, who has the authority to arrest and charge the four officers, holding them accountable for the murder of George Floyd

Protest:

  • Cover all identifying tattoos/piercings

  • Turn OFF location services/Turn ON Airplane Mode

  • Keep emergency contacts written on arm

  • Show up with a friend or group

  • Wear a broad face cover to counter facial-recognition technology and to prevent possible exposure to COVID-19

  • Other protective items to wear: goggles, elbow and knee pads, earplugs, and lycra skin covers

  • Avoid wearing contact lenses

  • Bring snacks, water, ID, and loose change (for subway/bus fare, to avoid being tracked through electronic transit passes)

  • When sharing videos or photos on social media, anonymize protestors’ faces via this tool, and add content warning labels when relevant

  • Also when sharing on social media, remove personally identifiable information on your profile
